Heard Ms. R. Latif, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.R. Dash, learned Additional Government Advocate. 2.
At the outset, Ms. Latif files a copy of Form-1A application dated 11.1.2020 along with a memo after serving a copy of the same on Mr. Das in Court today. The same be kept on records.

According to Ms. Latif, the petitioner is aggrieved by inaction of the authorities in taking a decision on its application dated 11.1.2020 submitted in Form-1A by which, the petitioner has applied for settlement of any land in its favour for the purposes indicated in the said application. She further submits that when nothing was done, the petitioner submitted a representation on 6.12.2021 before the SubCollector, Champua (opposite party no.1) under Annexure-4 indicating about its application dated 11.1.2020 praying for settlement of any suitable land. However, till date the said representation remains undisposed of. In such background,
// 2 // she prays that a direction be issued to opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the said representation under Annexure-4 within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the above noted representation under Annexure-4 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. While presenting a certified copy of this order before opposite party no.1, the petitioner is directed to serve a copy of Form-1A application dated 11.1.2020 to him.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 6.
Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
