CORAM:
JUSTICE SASHIKANTA MISHRA
ORDER
28.03.2022 Order No.
1.
This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.
1.
2.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.
3.
The prosecution allegation is that the petitioner being the wife of the deceased committed his murder by strangulating him by means of a towel. There is an eyewitness account of the occurrence in the form of the statement of one Pustam Podh, who has stated in vivid details about the occurrence.
4.
Considering the fact that there is direction evidence against the petitioner, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore, rejected. It is however open to the petitioner to renew her prayer for bail after examination of Pustam Podh. 5.
BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
