ORDER

22.06.2022 I.A. No.4916 of 2022 & I.A. No.6948 of 2022 06.

1. The Court has perused the Judgment dated 3rd June, 2022 of the Supreme Court of India in Civil Appeal Nos. 4515 and 4516 of 2022. Both the appeals, which challenged the order dated 9th May, 2022 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.6257 of 2022, have been dismissed by the Supreme Court of India with cost of Rs.1Lakh each.

2. The Supreme Court has specifically observed that "we are of the considered view that the public interest litigation filed before the High Court rather than being in public interest, is detrimental to the public interest at large".

3. In that view of the matter, I.A. Nos. 4916 of 2022 and 6948 of 2022, filed by the said two Appellants are hereby dismissed. W.P. (C) No.6257 of 2022

4. In view of the above observations of the Supreme Court of India in the aforementioned order dated 3rd June, 2022 concerning the present writ petition i.e., W.P.(C) No.6257 of 2022, it is not possible for this Court to continue to entertain the said petition as a PIL.
