Heard Mr. P.P. Behera, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr. K.K. Gaya, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State and Mr. B.N. Mohapatra, learned counsel appearing for the informant.

Mr. B.N. Mohapatra, Learned counsel for the informant filed an affidavit, inter alia indicating that the matter has been settled between the parties out of the Court. 4.

In view of such submission, the Criminal Proceeding in 1.C.C. Case No. 226 of 2019 pending on the file of S.D.J.M., Jajpur is hereby quashed, in terms of the law laid down in the case of B.S. Jhosi & Ors. Vrs. State of Haryana & Anr., reported in 2003 4 SCC 675.

The CRLMC is accordingly disposed of.
