This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

Having received the information as to death of the sole Respondent in the year 2018; learned counsel for the State prays for grant of time to take step for substitution of the legal representatives of the deceased Respondent.

Record reveals that this Appeal being filed on 01.06.2016, it is only when notice to the Respondent was sent so as to make an endeavour for disposal of this Appeal at the stage of admission, the same came back with postal noting that 'no such addressee' and thus now it is stated that the Respondent being dead, steps are required to be taken for substitution of her legal representatives. The death of Respondent having taken place in the year 2018; this Appeal has already abated since long.

In that view of the matter, this Appeal stands dismissed. (D. Dash) Judge
