1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement.
2. Heard.
3. Grievance of the petitioner in this writ petition is that he was appointed as Facilitator in the Non-formal Scheme at the scale of Rs.105/- vide letter No.2787 dated 18.06.1990 by the District Inspector of Schools, Bhanjanagar-II, Aska, DistrictGanjam. The present petitioner along with six others were relieved to undergo C.T. training course during the session by the District Inspector of Schools, Aska. Accordingly, the petitioner obtained Secondary Teachers' Training Certificate from the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha in the year 1998. Later, the petitioner appointed as Regular Primary School Teacher in the year 2011 and he continued in the said post for quite some time. When the opposite parties/ Department
// 2 // opened the service book of the petitioner, it was found in column-4 i.e. the educational qualification column of the service book wherein at the upper part of the row "H.S.C., C.T. examination passed" has been mentioned and at the lower part of the row "C.P.Ed., B.A., M.A. (Oriya), B.Ed. Exam. Passed" has been mentioned. A criminal case was registered against the petitioner alleging that the petitioner had submitted fake B.Ed. certificate. Accordingly, the petitioner was arrested on 02.11.2021 in Aska P.S. Case No.720 of 2021 for commission of offences under Sections 467/ 468/ 471/ 420 of the I.P.C. and released on bail vide order dated 20.01.2022 passed by this Court in G.R. Case No.1368 of 2021, arising out of the said P.S. Case, pending in the court of the learned J.M.F.C., Aska.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is under suspension vide order dated 30.12.2021 passed by the opposite party No.3- Block Education Officer, Aska. He further submits that the petitioner has filed a representation before the opposite party No.3- Block Education Officer, Aska on 18.02.2022 for revocation of his suspension order, as he has been released on bail in the meantime. But, no action has yet been taken on the same.
5. In view of such facts and submissions made, the opposite party No.3- Block Education Officer, Aska is directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner by passing a reasoned order as expeditiously as possible preferably within a
// 3 // period of one month of production/presentation of a certified copy of this order along with a copy of this writ petition.
6. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
7. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
