This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). None appears on behalf of the petitioner on repeated calls.

This is an application under section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Narla P.S. Case No.64 of 2018 corresponding to C.T. Case No.149 of 2018 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C., M. Rampur for alleged commission of offences under sections 403/406/ 409/420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the State submitted that even though as per order dated 11.05.2021, the

// 2 // petitioner was directed to appear before the Investigating Officer on 21.06.2021 and the interim protection order was extended but the petitioner has not complied with the said order.

In view of the conduct of the petitioner in not complying with the order of this Court, I am not inclined to grant him on anticipatory bail.

Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail stands rejected.

The petitioner is at liberty to surrender and move for bail before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, the same shall be disposed of as expeditiously as possible by the Courts below in accordance with law. The case records shall be made available to the Court concerned.

The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.

The interim order dated 22.03.2021 stands vacated.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
