Heard Mr. S.N. Biswal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B.P. Tripathy, learned Additional Government Advocate. 3.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the inaction of the authority in not allowing the petitioner to prosecute her studies in P.B.B.Sc. Nursing course.

Mr. S. N. Biswal, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner had got prior permission, i.e., no objection certificate, before appearing in the examination. Thereafter, when she was selected, the authority has not allowed her to prosecute the higher studies.

Mr. B.P. Tripathy, learned Additional Government Advocate contended that since the petitioner was granted with no objection certificate before appearing in the examination, there is no impediment on the part of the authority to allow her to prosecute the higher studies.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and after going through the records, this writ petition stands disposed of directing opposite party no.6 to consider the grievance of the petitioner as at

Annexure-8 and pass appropriate order to enable the petitioner to prosecute her higher studies, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
