This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State. Perused the record.

The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer :- "In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of this case, it is respectfully prayed that your lordship would graciously be pleased to admit this writ petition, and issue notice to the opp.parties and after hearing the parties direction may be issued to the opp.party No.1 to take necessary steps for deleting the name of Basanti Sethy and recording the name of Smt. Sarojini Sethy as the legal married wife of the petitioner in his service book as well as pension papers for the interest of justice."

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that although the petitioner has filed representation highlighting his grievances under Annexure-3 before the Chairman, Management Committee-Opposite Party No.1, the same is still pending before the said Opposite parties

// 2 // and the said Opposite Parties have not taken any decision on the representation of the Petitioner as of now.

Learned counsel for the Opposite Parties submits that he has no objection, if a direction is given to the authorities to consider the grievance petition of the petitioner in accordance with law within a stipulated period of time.

Considering the limited nature of grievance of the petitioner, this Court disposes of the writ petition at the stage of admission with a direction to the Chairman, Management Committee-Opposite Party No.1 to consider the representation of the petitioner under Annexure-3 series in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Further the Opposite Party No.1 is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner and dispose of the same by passing a speaking and reasoned order. Any decision taken on the same shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of ten days thereafter.

With the aforesaid direction/observation, this writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
