This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as learned counsel for the State. Perused the record.

The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer :- "It is therefore humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit the case, call for the records and after hearing both the parties pass the following reliefs;

i) To quash the order dtd.22.10.2021 under Annexureii) To quash the order dated 31.10.2021 under Annexure-5 in so far as it relates to the petitioner. iii) To direct the Opposite Parties to allow the petitioner to continue as constable in Balasore district. And pass such other order/orders, direction/directions as deem fit and proper."

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that although the petitioner has filed representation highlighting his grievances dated 15.11.2021 under Annexure-6 before the D.G. & I.G. of Police,

// 2 // Cuttack-Opposite Party No.2, the same is still pending before the said Opposite parties and the said Opposite Parties have not taken any decision on the representation of the Petitioner as of now. 5.

Learned counsel for the Opposite Parties submits that he has no objection, if a direction is given to the authorities to consider the grievance petition of the petitioner in accordance with law within a stipulated period of time.

Considering the limited nature of grievance of the petitioner, this Court disposes of the writ petition at the stage of admission with a direction to the D.G. & I.G. of Police, Cuttack-Opposite Party No.2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.11.2021 under Annexure-6 in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Further the Opposite Party No.2 is directed to consider the representation of the Petitioner and dispose of the same by passing a speaking and reasoned order. Any decision taken on the same shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of ten days thereafter. 7.

With the aforesaid direction/observation, this writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
