This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode. 2.

Heard Mr. Swarup, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Zafarulla, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.

According to Mr. Swarup, the petitioner has filed this application for a direction to the I.I.C., Sahid Nagar Police Station (opposite party no.3) to register her complaint vide ICC Case No.1074 of 2022 forwarded by the learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C. by order dated 24.02.2022.

Mr. Swarup submits that although the complaint being forwarded under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. by the court below has been received by the opposite party no.3, however, no further action has been taken at his end. He further submits that once complaint is received by the opposite party no.3 being forwarded by the learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C., he is under legal obligation to deal with the same in accordance with law and proceed further in the

// 2 // matter in finally submitting a report to the concerned court. 6.

Considering the submissions made, the present CRLMP is disposed of with an observation that in the event, the opposite party no.3 has received the complaint being forwarded by the learned S.D.J.M., Bhubaneswar in ICC Case No.1074 of 2022 under Section 156(3) of the Cr.P.C., he would do well to take all such effective steps as provided in law in the matter of investigation and complete the same in accordance with law if there is no other legal impediment.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
