1. From the order dated 24th July, 2017, it is seen that the security Order No.

amount which was to be refunded to the Petitioner was withheld on the plea that W.P.(C) No.22111 of 2013 filed by Western Electricity Supply Company of Odisha (WESCO) (now the Tata Western Odisha Power Distribution Co. Ltd. - TPWODL) is still pending in this Court.

2. It is seen that W.P.(C) No.22111 of 2013 now stands disposed of as having become infructuous by an order dated 16th August, 2022.

3. In that view of the matter, there is no impediment in the refund amount being released to the Petitioner. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to TPWODL to refund the

security amount to the Petitioner within a period of eight weeks from today.
