This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode. 2.
Heard Mr. Mohanta, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Zafarulla, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.
At the outset, on oral prayer, Mr. Mohanta is permitted to correct the description of opposite party No.4 in the cause title in Court today.

According to Mr. Mohanta, the petitioner, who is a student, wants an Income and Asset Certificate for admission to educational institution. For that purpose, she filed an application before the Tahasildar, Remuna (opposite party No.4) vide Annexure-2. Though after filing of such application under Annexure-2, the Revenue Inspector, Sahupada has submitted inspection report dated 04.03.2022 under Annexure-3 before opposite party No.4, however, till date nothing has been done in the matter and the application of the petitioner for Income and Asset Certificate remains pending before the Tahasildar, Remuna. In such background, he prays that a direction be
// 2 // issued to opposite party No.4 to take a decision on the above noted application of the petitioner within a specific time period. 5.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Tahasildar, Remuna (opposite party No.4) to take a decision on the above noted application of the petitioner for Income and Asset Certificate under Annexure-2 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from today and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 6.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 7.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
