This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 1.

The petitioner is a defaulting borrower of a housing loan availed for a sum of Rs.35 lakhs duly sanctioned on 26.04.2017 by the Union Bank of India, Koraput Branch, Koraput. The loan was to be repaid in twelve years with monthly installments @ of Rs.44,707/-.

It transpires that the petitioner has not been able to regularly pay the EMI's w.e.f. March, 2020. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed for giving a direction to the Bank to clear the arrears of EMI's.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the writ petition.

In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
