Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioners are in custody since 04.02.2022 in connection with Jatni P.S. Case No.378 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No.395 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C. Jatni for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 452/323/364/506/34 of IPC read with Section 25 (1-B)(a) of Arms Act.

The allegation is that the petitioners along with some other persons kidnapped the mother of the informant by threatening to kill him and his family members and thereafter took away the victim and kept her in an isolated place for two days. 5.

Considering the submissions, materials on record and the fact that the victim has in the meantime been rescued as also the fact that the investigation appears to have progressed substantially, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date

of posting of the case without fail.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
