Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 08.11.2021 in connection with R. Udayagiri P.S. Case No.140 of 2021 corresponding to G.R. Case No.113 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, Gajapati, Patalakhemundi for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 20(b)(ii)(C) of NDPS Act. 4.

Considering the fact that the seized contraband is more than commercial quantity, being 140 kg 300 grams of ganja, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore rejected. 5.

BLAPL is accordingly rejected.
