Heard Mr. S.Satapathy, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

According to Mr. Satapathy, the petitioner is aggrieved by non-disbursement of the compensation amount in connection with the acquisition of lands viz. Plot Nos. 3056 and 3061 pertaining to Khata No. 922 in Mouza-Belapahar under Lakhanpur Tahasil in the district of Jharsuguda which stood in the name of his late father. He further submits that though highlighting his grievances, the petitioner has submitted a representation before the General Manager, IB Valley Area, Mahanadi Coal Field Ltd., Brajarajnagar, Jharsuguda (Opposite Party No. 3) on 09.07.2021 under Annexure4, however, till date no action has been taken on such representation. In such background, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that a direction be issued to the Opposite Party No.3 to take a decision on the above noted representation of the

petitioner under Annexure-4 within a specific time period. 4.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merit of the case, this Court directs the General Manager, IB Valley Area, Mahanadi Coal Field Ltd., Brajarajnagar, Jharsuguda (Opposite Party No. 3) to take a decision on the above noted representation of the petitioner under Annexure-4 within a period of three months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order, keeping in mind the interest of all the legal heirs of the late father of the petitioner and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

The petitioner is directed to produce the legal heir certificate of his late father before Opposite Party No.3 6.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.. 7.
