CORAM:

JUSTICE B. P. ROUTRAY

ORDER

06.04.2022 Order No.

01.

1. Heard Mr. D.K. Sahoo, learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as Mr. K. Das, learned A.S.C. for the State-Opposite Party.

2. As seen from the record, since the Petitioner did not appear after issuance of summons concerning offences under Secs.498A/323/294/506/34, I.P.C. and Sec.4 of the D.P. Act, learned J.M.F.C., Pattamundai issued warrant of arrest against him. As such, I do not find any illegality in the impugned order.

3. Accordingly, the CRLMC is dismissed.

4. However as prayed on behalf of the Petitioner, it is further observed that in the event the Petitioner surrenders before the learned J.M.F.C., Pattamundai within four weeks from today and prays for his release on bail, his prayer for bail shall be considered in accordance with law including the ground of parity if any applicable, on the same day.
