This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Additional Government Advocate.

The Petitioner has filed this writ petition with the following prayer:

"The Petitioner, therefore prays that in view of the submission made above, the Hon'ble Court be graciously pleased to the Opposite parties to give promotion to the Petitioner to the post of Additional Block Development Officer from the date of his immediate juniors got such promotions i.e. from 13.12.2013 and grant all consequential and financial benefits including further promotion within a stipulated period as deemed fit and proper.

And to grant any other relief/reliefs as this Hon'ble Court would deem fit and proper in the interest of justice." 4.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner highlighting his grievance has filed a representation before the Director, Panchayat Raj department Bhubaneswar, Opposite Party no.2 on 07.12.2021 under Annexure-6. It is further submitted

// 2 // by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the said representation is pending consideration as of now. Learned counsel for the Petitioner also submits that a suitable direction may be issued to the Opposite Party No.2 to consider the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time in accordance with law. 5.

Learned Additional Government Advocate on the other hand submits that he has no objection if a direction is issued to the Opposite Party No.2 to consider the representation of the Petitioner under Annexure-6 within a stipulated period of time in accordance with law.

Considering the limited nature of grievance of the Petitioner the present writ application is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to Opposite party No.2 to consider the representation of the Petitioner in the light of the judgdment decided by this Court on 03.08.2021 in the case of Dr.Sushama Barik -v. - State of Odisha and another within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order along with a copy of the judgment referred to hereinabove. The Opposite Party No.2 shall do well to consider the representation of the Petitioner in accordance with law and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order. The decision so taken on the representation of the Petitioner shall be communicated to the Petitioner within two weeks thereafter. With the aforesaid observation the writ application stands disposed of.
