This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel.

The Petitioner has filed this writ petition with the following prayer:
"It is, therefore, prayed that the writ Petition be admitted, relevant records be called for and after hearing the counsels for the parties this Hon'ble Court be pleased to allow the Writ Petition.
And direct the Opp.Parties specifically the Opp.Party No.2 to release pension and Pensionary benefits in terms of the OCS(Pension) Rules, 1992 in favour of the Petitioner taking into account the Petitioner's past service within a stipulated period.
And/or pass any other order/direction as deem just and proper by this Hon'ble Court."

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner has filed a detailed representation highlighting his grievance before the Director, Panchayatiraj Department, Odisha,
// 2 // Opposite Party No.2 on 11.12.2021 under Annexue-4. He further submits that no action has been taken on the representation of the Petitioner as of now.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection if a direction is given to the Director, Panchayatiraj Department, Odisha, Opposite Party No.2 to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time strictly in accordance with law.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, the writ application is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to Opposite Party No.2 to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner under Annexure-4 within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. The Opposite Party no.2 shall do well to consider the representation of the Petitioner strictly in accordance with law and dispose of the same by passing a speaking and reasoned order. The decision so taken on the representation of the Petitioner shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter. With the aforesaid observation the writ application stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per Rules.
