Heard Mr.B.C.Ghadei, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.K.Nanda, learned Addl. Government Advocate.

According to Mr.Ghadei the petitioner was occupying a Government land i.e. Plot No. 1310 pertaining to Khata No. 300(R) covering an area Ac.0.10 dec. of Gramya Jungle kisam under Mouza-Khaira in the district of Nuapada. Though such land has been used for constructing Biju Express Highway by evicting him from the said plot but till date no compensation has been paid to him. He further submits that the petitioner is a landless Scheduled Tribe person and has no means to construct a house of his own. 3.
During course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits liberty may be granted to the petitioner to file a grievance petition before the Collector, Nuapada (opposite party No.2) for redressal of his grievances and further prays that a direction may be issued to the said opposite party to take a decision on such motion within a
// 2 // specific time period.

Considering such submissions and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file a grievance petition before opposite party No.2 along with a copy of this order by registered post within a period of two weeks hence. In the event, such grievance petition is received by the opposite party No.2, he/she is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of three months there from and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 6.
Urgent certified copy of the order be granted on proper application.
