Heard counsel for the parties.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to extend the lease period in respect of "Ambokaragola Sairat Source" for a period of one year under Rule 8(4) read with Rule-64 of the OMMC Rule, 2016.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner states that highlighting the grievances, the petitioner has made representations to opposite party no.2 vide Annexures-4, 5 series and 6 series and the same may be directed to be considered within a stipulated time taking into consideration Rules 8(4) read with Rule-64 of the Orissa Minor Minerals Concession Rules, 2016, to which learned State Counsel has no objection.

As agreed by learned counsel for the parties, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the writ petition directing opposite party no.2 to consider the representations filed by the petitioner vide Annexures-4, 5 series and 6 series and pass appropriate order in accordance with law taking into consideration Rules 8(4) read with Rule-64 of the Orissa Minor Minerals Concession Rules, 2016 within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
