This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 2.

The Petitioner was ex-licensee for operating IMFL 'OFF' shop (retail) at Badabazar, Berhampur for the excise year 2020-2021.

The prayer in the present writ petition is for return of the security offered for the bank guarantee towards the grant of operating the aforesaid license for the excise year 2020-2021. 4.

At the time of hearing, Mr. L. Samantaray, Additional Government Advocate states that the bank guarantee/security deposit has not been released in view of certain outstanding liabilities for the excise year 2020-2021.

At this stage, counsel for the Petitioner prays for permission to withdraw the present writ petition and to file a fresh one with better particulars in view of the subsequent letter issued indicating the outstanding liabilities for the excise year 2020-2021 to which Mr. L. Samantaray, Additional Government Advocate has no objection to the same.

In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
