1. These matters are taken up through hybrid Order No.

arrangement (virtual/physical mode).

This order shall dispose of the aforesaid W.P.(C) No.7393 of 2022 along with three connected cases*i as they emerge out of similar orders passed by the Excise authorities.

In all the four writ petitions, the limited prayer is for grant of Solvency Certificate in accordance with the provision of the Odisha Miscellaneous Certificate Rules, 2017 for the purpose of renewal of the liquor licenses for the Excise Year 2022-2023.

Counter affidavit has been filed by the Superintendent of Excise, Bhadrak/Balasore, inter alia stating that the petitioners are required to make an online application in terms of the Circular dated

// 2 // 1st August, 2018 issued by the Government of Odisha.

At the time of resumed hearing today, learned counsel for the petitioners states that all the four writ petitions have become infructuous in view of the grievance having been redressed.

In view of the above, the writ petitions are dismissed as infructuous.

Registry is directed to attach the photocopy of this order in all connected cases.
