This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No.

(Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The present writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner with the following relief:

"Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, it is therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ/writs by directing the Opp. Parties to issue an order of appointment in favour of the Petitioner in any post of Group-C category taking into consideration the vacancies available.

Or pass such other order/orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case."

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that highlighting his grievance, the Petitioner has filed a representation before the Chief District Agriculture Officer, Sambalpur, Opposite Party No.3, on which, no decision has been taken as yet.

// 2 // Accordingly, a prayer has been made to direct the Opposite Party No.3 to dispose of the said representation expeditiously. 5.

Learned counsel for the State on the other hand submits that he has no objection, if a direction is given to the Authority to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time.

Considering the limited nature of grievance, this Court disposes of the writ petition at the stage of admission with a direction to the Chief District Agriculture Officer, Sambalpur, Opposite Party No.3 to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner dated 5.1.2022 (Annexure-17) within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Opposite Party No.3 is also directed to consider the representation in accordance with law and shall dispose of the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order after affording opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner. The decision so taken shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter. 7.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
