This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Mr. P.S. Nayak along with Mr. D. Sethi, learned counsels entered appearance on behalf of the Opposite Party No.2 in Court today and files a joint affidavit in Court. The same is accepted and be kept on record.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned counsel for the Opposite Party No.2 and learned counsel for the State. 4.

The parties filed a joint affidavit stating therein that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties on intervention of village entries along with well wishers of both the family members and they are residing peacefully by restoring good relationship. Further the complainant wife has no more interested to proceed in

// 2 // the matter.

Considering the aforesaid submission, joint affidavit filed and the fact that the matter has been amicably settled and the complainant is no more interested for trial, the continuance of the criminal proceeding will be an unnecessary abuse of process of the Court and an exercise in futility.

In such view of the matter, it is directed that the entire proceeding in C.T. Case No.337 of 2022 pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Jharsuguda is quashed.

With the aforesaid observation, the CRLMP is disposed of accordingly.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
