This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No.

(Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for both the parties.

The present writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner with a prayer to direct the Opposite Parties to allow the Petitioner to prosecute the B.Sc. Ag. course as an in-service candidate. It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that on earlier occasion also the Petitioner has requested the Authorities to prosecute the aforesaid course as an in-service candidate, but the same has not been considered by the Authority. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that he has submitted a representation before the Authority requesting to consider his case and allow him to prosecute the B.Sc. Ag. course as an in-service candidate. It is stated that the representation was submitted before the Principal Secretary to Govt. Agriculture and Farmer's

// 2 // Empowerment Deptt, Odisha, Opposite Party No.1 on 25.08.2021, which is still pending before the Authority for consideration. 4.

Learned counsel for the State on the other hand submits that he has no objection, if a direction is given to the Authority to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time.

Considering the limited nature of grievance, this Court disposes of the writ petition at the stage of admission with a direction to the Opposite Party No.1 to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner dated 25.08.2021 within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Opposite Party No.1 is also directed to consider the representation in accordance with law and shall dispose of the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order after affording opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner. The decision so taken shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per rules.
