1. The matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

2. The petitioner approached this Court to pass an appropriate order directing the Block Education Officer, Kendrapara to place the matter before the Principal Secretary, Department of School and Mass Education, Government of Orissa for considering relaxation under Rule 47(2)(b) of the Odisha Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1992 for the grant of minimum pension. The petitioner had filed a detail representation before the opposite party No.3 on 15.09.2021. Since then, the matter is pending for consideration by the authority. In view of such pendency, the petitioner's grievance has not been addressed.

3. Let the opposite party No.3 place the representation dated 15.09.2021 before the Principal Secretary, Department of School and Mass Education, Government of Orissa, who in

// 2 // turn, shall place the matter before the Hon'ble Governor as per the mandate of Rule 114 of the OCS (Pension) Rules, 1992. Let the entire exercise be completed within a period of three months from today.

4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
