This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Government Advocate.

The present writ application has been filed seeking for a direction to the Opposite Parties to extend the financial benefits with effect from the date of his joining in the work charged establishment and the Grade Pay as due and admissible.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has submitted a representation before the Principal Secretary to Government, Water Resources Department, Odisha, Opposite Party No.1 on 08.012.2021 under Annexure-4 highlighting his grievance, which is pending for consideration. He further submits that if a direction is issued to Opposite Party No.1 to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time, then the grievance of the Petitioner shall be redressed. 5.

Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that he does not have any objection if a direction is issued to the Opposite

In such view of the matter, considering the limited nature of grievance of the Petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to Opposite Party No.1 to consider the representation of the Petitioner within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Further, the Opposite Party No.1 is directed to dispose of the representation of the Petitioner strictly in accordance with law by passing speaking and reasoned order. The decision so taken on the representation of the Petitioner, shall be communicated to the Petitioner within two weeks thereafter.

With the aforesaid observation the writ application is disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per Rules.
