This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode. 2.
Heard Mr. A.K. Acharya, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. D.K. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.
According to Mr. Acharya, the petitioner is aggrieved by the letter No.2174 dated 10.07.2020 issued by the opposite party No.3 under Annexure-1 whereby, he has been asked to pay a total of Rs.6,97,115/-. He further submits that though after receipt of the demand notice under Annexure-1, the petitioner has submitted a detailed representation dated 16.07.2020 under Annexure-4 before the opposite party No.3 however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. 4.
During course of hearing, Mr. Acharya submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to approach the Managing Director, Odisha State Civil Supply Corporation (opposite party No.2) for redressal of the grievances of the petitioner by filing a representation and the said opposite party be directed to take a decision on such motion within a specific
// 2 // time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to file a representation before the Managing Director, Odisha State Civil Supply Corporation (opposite party No.2) through registered post within a period of two weeks from today. In the event, such a representation is filed along with a copy of this order, the opposite party No.2 is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such representation and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. 7.
Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
