This matter is taken up through Hybrid arrangement (video conferencing/physical mode). Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
This is an application under section 438, Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Remuna P.S. Case No.36 of 2021 corresponding to C.T. Case No.171 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned J.M.F.C. (Rural), Balasore for alleged commission of offences under sections 341, 294, 325, 307, 506, 379/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the State that the informant is the injured in the case and he has sustained simple injury
// 2 // and taking into account the age of the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner has been granted interim protection since 24.03.2021 and there is no material that he has misutilized his liberty, the interim order dated 24.03.2021 is made absolute.
The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
