This matter is taken up through video conferencing mode. 2.

Heard Mr. Patnaik, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Mohanty, learned Additional Standing Counsel. 3.

According to Mr. Patnaik, the petitioner is aggrieved by the manner in which investigation is going on connection with Raghunathpur P.S.

Case No.38 of registered for commission of offences under Sections 341/294/323/427/ 379/307/354-B/452/34 of I.P.C. During course of hearing, he submits that though highlighting all her grievances, the petitioner has approached the Superintendent of Police, Jagatsinghpur (opposite party No.2) by sending a grievance petition dated 16.03.2022 vide Annexure-2 sent through registered post on 17.03.2022, however, till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to the Superintendent of Police, Jagatsinghpur to take a decision on the grievance petition of the petitioner within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Superintendent of Police, Jagatsinghpur to take a decision on the grievance petition dated 16.03.2022 of the petitioner under Annexure-2 in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if in the meantime, the same has not been disposed of and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner. 5.

Accordingly, this CRLMP is disposed of.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
