This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The petitioner in the writ petition raises a limited grievance as submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that an appeal under Section 6-B(5) of the Orissa Education Act,1969 pending before the opposite party no.3 is to be disposed of in accordance with law, as it is pending since 2021.

It is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel that the authority shall consider the appeal as per its priority amongst the pending appeals and shall dispose of the same in accordance with law in due time.

Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is disposed of observing that the appropriate authority shall deal with the appeal in accordance with law and dispose of the same, as expeditiously as possible, after giving due opportunity to the parties to the appeal.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
