2.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.
3.
The petitioner is in custody in connection with STF Bhubaneswar P.S. Case No. 30 of 2021 corresponding to Special Case No.200 of 2021 pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Balasore for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 21(C)/29 of NDPS Act.

Considering the fact that the seized contraband is more than commercial quantity, being 1 kg 412 grams of brown sugar, which was seized from the exclusive possession of the petitioner, I am not inclined to allow the prayer for bail, which is therefore, rejected. However, considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 15.08.2021, learned Trial Court shall try and dispose of the case expeditiously.
