This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement Order No.

(Virtual/Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

The present writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner praying for a direction to the Opposite Party No.4 to complete the selection process for appointment of Contractual Secretary of Khamarisahi (N) Service Co-operative Society Ltd., Nayagarh which was forwarded pursuant to advertisement under Annexure-1. 4.

It is further submitted that although the selection process has progressed substantially and the selection list has been prepared and Petitioner has been selected for the post of Secretary, Khamarisahi (N) Service Co-operative Society Limited, however, no follow of action has been taken to allow the Petitioner to join in service pursuant to the said selection list. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that in this regard he has submitted a representation before the Assistant Registrar, Co-operative Societies,

// 2 // Nayagarh Circle, Nayagarh, Opposite Party No.4 under Annexure-4, which is stated to be pending before the said Authority for consideration.

In such view of the matter and considering the grievance of the Petitioner, this Court disposes of the writ petition at the stage of admission with a direction to the Opposite Party No.4 to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner dated 14.03.2022 under Annexure-4 within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Opposite Party No.4 is also directed to consider the representation in accordance with law and shall dispose of the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order after affording opportunity of hearing to the Petitioner. The decision so taken shall be communicated to the Petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
