This matter is taken up through virtual/physical mode. 1.
The petitioner is an exclusive privilege holder of a license for Raighar Out Steel shop, and by filing the present writ petition he has laid challenge to the demand notice dated 11.06.2021 (Annexure-4), whereby he has been directed to deposit an amount of Rs.17,49,120/- towards the un-utilized possession fee of 1822 Qtls Mahua Flower @ Rs.960/- per Qtl for the Excise year 2020-21.

At the time of hearing today, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner having accepted the demand and deposited the same pursuant to the demand notice (Annexure-4), the present writ petition has become infructuous.
