1. Petitioner's representation dated 15th March, 2022 (Annexure-7) should be considered by the Secretary, Excise Department after hearing the Petitioner and a reasoned order be passed thereon (taken into account the recommendation dated 22nd February, 2022 of the Superintendent of Excise) not later than 20th February, 2023. The said order shall be communicated to the Petitioner thereafter. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case
