Heard Mr. S.N. Biswal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S. Jena, learned Standing Counsel for School and Mass Education Department.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to opposite party no.3 to consider his representations under Annexure-2 series and release his retirement benefits, such as pension and pensionary benefits, gratuity, GPF etc w.e.f. his date of retirement on 31.03.2018 along with interest within a stipulated period. 4.
Pursuant to notice issued, opposite party no.4 filed counter affidavit incorporating the letter dated 25.07.2022 as Annexure-A/4 to the counter affidavit issued by the Block Education Officer, Aska to the Director, Elementary Education, Odisha, Bhubaneswar seeking necessary instructions to sanction and disburse the retiral benefits including final pension through appropriate authority. 5.
Mr. S.N. Biswal, learned counsel for the petitioner contended that since the Block Education Officer, Aska has
already sought instructions from the Director, Elementary Education, Odisha, Bhubaneswar, vide letter dated 25.07.2022 under Annexure-A/4 to the counter affidavit, direction may be issued to the Director, Elementary Education, Odisha, Bhubaneswar to act upon the same within a stipulated period.

In that view of the matter, this Court disposes of the writ petition with a direction to the Director, Elementary Education, Odisha, Bhubaneswar-opposite party no.2 to provide necessary instructions to the Block Education Officer, Aska-opposite party no.4 in response to letter dated 25.07.2022 under Annexure-A/4 to the counter affidavit, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production/communication of the certified copy of this order.
