Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

The Writ Petition involves the following prayer :- "The Petitioner, therefore, prays that this Hon'ble Court be graciously pleased to issue a Rule Nisi calling upon the opposite parties to show cause as to why a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ or writs shall not be issued ; i) Directing the Opp.Parties to get the kidney transplantation done in respect of the petitioner from unrelated donor in the Kalinga Hospital Ltd., Bhubaneswar and to direct the Opp.Party No.2 to accord permission to conduct such kidney transplantation of unrelated donors as per request made by petitioner under Annexure-4.

ii) To pass such other order/orders, which would give complete relief to the petitioner is struggling for his life in the death on bed.

iii) If the opposite parties fail to show cause or show insufficient cause to make the said rule absolute..." 3.

It appears, the Petitioner's request for permission to kidney transplantation from an unrelated donor is pending before the

// 2 // Director of Medical Education and Training, Odisha and the Chairman of Authorisation Committee of the Appropriate Authority, O.P.2, vide Annexure-4. For the application pending since 21.3.2022, O.P.2 is directed to consider the request involved and pass appropriate order at least within a period of three working days from the date of communication of this order along with copy of the Writ Petition by the Petitioner. Learned Additional Standing Counsel is directed to communicate the decision of this Court to the Committee.

With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
