This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

This writ petition has been filed by the Petitioner with a prayer to quash the order dated 4th August, 2021 under Annexure-2 with a direction to the Opposite Party No.1-Transport Commissioner-cumChairman, State Transport Authority, Odisha, Cuttack to grant the permit in his favour on the applied route, i.e., from Bhubaneswar to Kandia in respect of his vehicle No.OR-11-G-7595 with the suggested timing.

Heard the learned counsel for the Parties.

The grievance of the in this case is that the route permit has not been considered on the ground that the route is yet to be rationalized.

Considering the aforesaid facts and submissions made, I am not inclined to interfere with the impugned order, but directing the authority concerned that the rationalization process, which is going on, the same shall be finalized within a period of six months hence and after rationalization of the same, invite applications and in that event, the Petitioner may approach the authority concerned for grant of route permit.

However, is it stated by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioner would apply for temporary permit. It is open to the Petitioner to do so and the authority concerned on receipt of such application, may dispose of the same in accordance with law. 7.

With the aforesaid order, this writ petition stands disposed of. 8.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
