1. This matter is taken up through virtual mode. Order No.
2. Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.
3. The Petitioner is in custody since 23rd February, 2022 in connection with Lakhanpur P.S.
Case No.05/2022 corresponding to C.T. Case No.37/2022 pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Jharsuguda for the alleged commission of the offence under Sections 457/395/120-B of I.P.C.

4. It is alleged that while the Petitioner was working as a Security Guard in Lakhanpur OCP, MCL, 8 to 10 persons entered inside the workshop and assaulted him and another Security Guard, tied them with a rope and took away several articles such as Laptop, CCTV, etc.
5. Considering the fact that the Petitioner was himself assaulted and tied by the culprits, it cannot be prima facie said that he was involved in the occurrence. Having regard to the submissions made, the materials on record and the period of detention in custody, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail.
6. Let the Petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as may be imposed by the court in seisin over the matter in the aforesaid case including the condition that he shall appear before the trial court on each date of posting of the case without fail.
7. The BLAPL is disposed of.
8. Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
