This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and learned Additional Standing Counsel.

This writ application has been filed by the Petitioners seeking a direction to regularize the services of the Petitioners, who are working as DLR under the establishment of P.H.Division, Dharmagarh, in the district of Kalahandi.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Petitioners have filed a detailed representation before the Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department on 17.11.2021 under Annexure-4 highlighting their grievance, which is pending for consideration since long.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel has no objection if a direction is issued to the Opposite Party No.1 to consider and dispose of the representation of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time strictly in accordance with law.

In such view of the matter, the writ application is disposed of at the stage of admission with a direction to the Opposite Party No.1 to consider the representation of the Petitioner in the light of the judgments of the Hon'ble Apex Court in State of Karnataka v.Umadevi, 2006(4) SCC 1 and State of Karnataka and others v M.L.Keshari and others, 2010 (II) OLR (SC) 982 within a period of two months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. Further, the Opposite Party No.1 is directed to dispose of the same strictly in accordance with law by passing a reasoned and speaking order. The decision so taken on the representation of the Petitioner shall be communicated to the Petitioners within two weeks thereafter.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ application stands disposed of.

Issue urgent certified copy as per Rules.
