Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 03.02.2022 in connection with Seranga P.S. Case No.7 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.57 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Paralakhemundi for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 379/411/465/468/471/420/34 of IPC.

The prosecution allegation is that the petitioner and one Srikanta Pal were falsifying documents at the behest of the principal accused persons for the purpose of selling stolen motor cycles. The petitioner's complicity has been brought to light through the confessional statement of the principal accused. 5.
Having regard to the above facts and taking into account the period of detention in custody, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and
proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of posting of the case without fail.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
