This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner.

The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition with the following prayer:- "Under such circumstances the petitioner therefore prays that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to Admit the writ application, issue Rule NISI calling upon the Opp. Parties to show cause call upon the opp. parties to show cause as to why the Less compensation awarded in favour of petitioner Acquired Land as per Annexure-1 but not at par with the Rate per Decimal fixed by the Authorities as per Annexure No.2 shall not be declared to be illegal, arbitrary and thereby quashed. And upon showing no cause or insufficient cause the Rule be made absolute by allowing the writ application with the aforesaid prayer thereby directing the opp. parties to pay compensation at a higher Rate per Decimal at part with Annexure No.-2.

And to pass any other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper and for which act of kindness, the petitioner as in duty bound shall every pray."

He further submits that through highlighting his grievances,

the petitioner has filed a representation vide Annexure-4 to the Writ Petition, but till date nothing has been done in the matter. In such background, he prays that a direction be issued to opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs opposite party No.1 to take a decision on the above noted petition in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.
