Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 05.02.2022 in connection with Aska P.S. Case No.69 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.21 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned Addl. District Judge-cum-Special Court under POCSO Act, Berhampur for the alleged commission of offence under Sections 341/354D/506/294/509/307/324/326 of IPC read with Section 12 of POCSO Act.

Having regard to the nature of accusations, the nature of injuries sustained by the injured persons and the period of detention of the petitioner in custody, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the Court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of posting of the case without fail. Further he shall appear before the IIC of Aska Police Station once in every fortnight for a period of six months and such
fact shall be intimated by the IIC to the Court below once in every month.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
