1. Learned counsel for the Petitioner relies on a judgment dated Order No.

18th July, 2016 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.4552 of 2010 (Sunil Kumar Jaiswal vs. State of Odisha) and states that the present writ petition stand covered by the said judgment. It is seen that the said order in turn refers to an earlier judgment dated 19th September, 2014 in WP(C) No.14493 of 2004.

2. The Commissioner of Excise will examine the present petition in light of the above judgment/orders and after hearing the Petitioner pass an appropriate order not later than 12th September, 2022. The Petitioner will appear before the Commissioner of Excise for the above purpose on 11th August, 2022 at 3 pm along with a downloaded copy of this order. A copy of this order also be send forthwith to the Commissioner of Excise.
