This matter is taken up today in the 2nd National Lok Adalat.

Ms.Smrutirekha Das @ Baral, Informant-Opposite Party No.2 is present in person in Court today and produced a xerox copy of her Aadhar Card, which is taken on record. 3.

During the course of hearing, the Informant submits that out of misunderstanding, she has lodged the FIR against the Petitioners. Further, it is submitted that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and the parties are staying together as husband and wife and leading a happy conjugal life. In such view of the matter, she does not want to proceed further in the matter.

Considering the aforesaid submissions and keeping in view that the larger interest of justice, this Court observes that

// 2 // no useful purpose would be served in allowing further continuance of criminal proceeding between the parties. Therefore, by exercising power under Section 320(6) of Cr.P.C. this Court permits the offences under Sections 323/325/341/506/34 of I.P.C. to be compounded. Further, the alleged offences u/s.498-/307/120-B of I.P.C. are hereby quashed by invoking power u/s.482 of Cr.P.C. Accordingly, the G.R. Case No.40 of 2020 pending in the court of J.M.F.C.(R), Cuttack ends in acquittal and the Petitioner is hereby acquitted of all charges.

In view of the above, the G.R. Case No.40 of 2020 stands closed. CRLMC thus stands allowed.
