This matter is taken up through hybrid mode.

The Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction for early disposal of C.P. No. 29 of 2018 pending before learned Judge, Family Court, Khurda.

It is submitted by Mr. Bhanjadeo, learned counsel that earlier the Petitioner had approached this Court in W.P.(C) No.30068 of 2021 with similar prayer. The said writ petition was disposed of on 14th February, 2022 with a direction that in the event the Petitioner files an application for early disposal of C.P. No.29 of 2018 stating the grounds therein, such application shall be considered in accordance with law within a period of four weeks therefrom. In obedience to the said order, the Petitioner filed an application for early disposal of C.P. No. 29 of 2018 on 22nd February, 2022. The said application was posted to 10th March, 2022. But, learned Judge, Family Court, Khurda has not passed any order on the said application as yet. The matter is lingering due to non-cooperation of

// 2 // Opposite Party. Thus, the Petitioner finding no other alternative has filed this writ petition.

Considering the submission made by learned counsel for the Petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with an observation that if the Petitioner has already filed an application for early disposal of C.P. No.29 of 2018 in obedience to the direction made in W.P.(C) No. 30068 of 2021, the same may be considered and disposed of expeditiously by passing a reasoned order.

Urgent certified copy of this order be granted on proper application.
