This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Standing Counsel.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner has submitted a Grievance Petition to the Director General of Police, Odisha, Cuttack Opposite Party No.3 on 03.12.2021 under Annexure-7, which is stated to be pending before him and till date no action has been taken on the same. It is also submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that a direction may be issued to the Opposite Party No. 3 to consider the Grievance Petition of the Petitioner within a stipulated period of time. 5.

Considering the limited grievance of the Petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, disposes of the writ petition at the stage of admission directing Opposite Party No.3 to consider the Grievance Petition filed by the Petitioner dated 03.12.2021 under Annexure-7 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of six weeks in the light of the

// 2 // judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Dev Dutt-v.-Union of India and others (2008) 8 SCC 725 and the guidelines dated 26.04.2006 under Annexure-4 from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
