Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Addl. Standing Counsel for the State.

The petitioner is in custody since 28.02.2022 in connection with Koraput Town P.S. Case No.52 of 2022 corresponding to G.R. Case No.159 of 2022 pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Koraput for the alleged commission of offence under Section 395 of IPC.

It is alleged that the petitioner along with some other culprits waylaid a pickup van by showing sword and kati and after assaulting the driver of the said vehicle, snatched away cash of Rs. 53,000/-. It appears that the incident being reported immediately, the petitioner along with other culprits were taken into custody. Nothing has been recovered from them so far and investigation appears to have progressed substantially. 5.

Taking into consideration all the facts and the period of detention of the petitioner in custody, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the petitioner be released on bail on such

terms and conditions as the court in seisin over the matter may deem fit and proper to impose including the condition that he shall personally appear before the trial Court on each date of posting of the case without fail.

BLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
